What is the activation fee?

All memberships have a $60 activation fee.

When am I billed?

All contract payments are automatically billed fortnightly. Failed payments result in a $10 rejection fee.

What is the minimum commitment period?

Month-to-month contracts have a minimum commitment period of three months.

Annual contracts have a minimum commitment period of twelve months.

What happens if I cancel during the minimum commitment period?

Any cancellations within the commitment period will result in members paying the lesser of either the remainder of their contract or $200.

Can I use any facility if I have a membership?

Members can access any facility. The accessibility granted by your membership tier is consistent across all locations.

Note: Thornleigh does not have a Gym. Members who use Tempus Gym will be charged a sneak in fee.

Can I change my home club?

As an AUSA member, you are able to visit any of the AUSA Facilities. However, your Home Club may change depending on your usage. If you use a club other than your Home Club five times in a row, it will default to your new Home Club and your memberships pricing will be automatically updated to match.

Can I upgrade my membership?

If you’re interested in upgrading your membership, please come and see us at one of our Facilities during staffed hours and we will be able to help you.

How can I provide feedback about my membership?

We are always wanting to improve. If you have a suggestion on how we could do things differently or want to let us know about something you like, shoot us a message and let us know what's on your mind.

I cant’ find the Booking Page in the Client Portal!

After logging into the Client Portal, at the top of the page click “Book”, then underneath you’ll have the options to book a “Session” or to “Book Now”. Make sure you select the correct facility!

I have billing errors or need to change my account information.

Login to our Client Portal with your details and you be able to make changes to your account information, see payment methods, pay overdue fees, and more. If you need to get in contact, shoot us an email.

Freezes

When can I freeze?

Members can freeze their membership at any payment period after the start of their contract. Freezes go from one payment period to another (Monday Fortnightly).

What is the length of freeze available?

Every member has the option to freeze their contract for up to 12 weeks. There is a minimum freeze period of 4 weeks.

What happens if I freeze within my minimum contract term?

Any freezes within the commitment period will extend your contract term by the same length.

When is the next payment after a freeze?

Your next payment will be taken the day your freeze ends, as freezes are from payment period to payment period.

What’s the difference between a freeze and a medical freeze?

If you have a medical reason and we are satisfied by your supporting documents such as a certificate from a medical practitioner stating you are unable to exercise, we will freeze your membership for the advised time frame as per the advice.

How can I refer a friend?

Any AUSA Facility member can Refer a Friend. Once your friend becomes a member and has completed the 14-day cooling-off period, both you and your friend will get one free week credited to the following month’s membership dues.

Example: Refer a friend in March 2022, 1 week free-time to be applied on the direct-debit 25th April 2022.
