Our amazing Marketing Manager is handing back the keys after 3 years to go on an adventure to travel the world.

We’re looking for a skilled Marketing Manager who has experience managing, who is happy to get their hands on the tools (email, paid social, general digital, traditional channels), and who loves hoops.

ABOUT the role

We have several basketball businesses under the AUSA umbrella. These include; US Tours, training facilities, physiotherapy and S&C, wholesale product sales, retail, and content creation. We like to think of our marketing department (2 content creators, a social media coordinator, and a retail coordinator) as a little in-house agency that works across all our products and helps tie everything together.

This role has a hand in marketing strategy and execution across each business division. You will oversee the content team, work directly with professional, college, and high school players for content creation, negotiate external partnerships, manage relationships with external partners such as Rebel Sport, manage our scholarship and ambassador programs, and control ad spend on paid social. Yep, it is a broad, generalist role.

We are open to adding and cutting aspects of the job to suit the successful candidate’s skillset.

This is an in-person role. There may be scope to work from home once a week, but in general, we will need you in person as our coaches, physios, content creators, etc are all in person and you will be working closely with them.

The successful candidate will likely come from a boutique agency where they have their hand in many various aspects of marketing and are used to jumping into a problem in a new area and finding a solution. We aren’t looking for someone who just wants to think and do strategy. We need you to be involved in the implementation and problem-solving to execute campaigns.
